Every month we should honor women. Mama Ro (Rolanda Wilkins) an activist and advocate for women remembers the work of other Black Women during Women's History Month. Mama Ro remembers Kathryn Hall- Trujillo, creator of the Birthing Project and Judge Alice Lytle, an advocate and defender of the rights of women and children. The powerful impact of these women is a timely reminder to us of what is possible when we come together and work to eliminate racial disparities. Whether maternal mortality, judicial injustcies or saving our youth this episode is a reminder of the strength, resience and power of Black women to affect change.
