Sexuality after 40 for Women?

Sexuality after 40 for Women?

Who says the sexual fire dims after 40?

YES.. our bodies change with time. Instead of a decline maybe peri-/menopause is a liberation from monthly woes and a new phase where a woman can focus on pleasure. It's a good time to get candid about our cravings, wants and desires. Not's not about size, its about being able to give and to receive pleasure. With years of experience, we are more able to articulate what tickles our fancy. Openness with our partner isn't just about honesty; it's about creating the space and acceptance where our deepest desires can be explored.

Indulging in our sexual desires isn't just fun, it's a boon for our health. Orgasms are like a workout for our pelvic floor muscles, a natural mood lifter, and a sweet balm for stress.  They help to keep our cardiovascular system in check.

However, not all of us over 40 has a partner or has a partner who is able to engage in sex. This situation presents an opportunity for self discovery. It becomes a time to stoke our own flames, to explore what fuels our fire. This self discovery is a gift, whether we're solo or with a partner.

Occasionally, sexual problems do arise.  Whether it's a dip in desire, vaginal dryness or some other physical concern, there is no shame in seeking guidance. From lubricants that smooth the way to medications to therapies that ignite the spark, we have options. And there are solutions for us to consider.

A vibrant sex life is more than just bedroom antics. Exercise, nutrition  and a splash of mindfulness form the elixir that keeps our sensuality and sexual vitality bubbling.

Aging doesn't have to be a fade-out; it can be a shift to a bolder and a freer us. It's a time to celebrate our sensuality, to redefine what pleasure means on our own terms. Let's wear our years with pride  and let them amplify our desires.

In essence,  40+ years becomes a playground for sensual exploration. It's a time to embrace our desires, to experiment boldly and to revel in the richness of our sexual renaissance. Let it be a time filled with deep satisfaction, vibrant health and unabashed pleasure.
