Jennifer A. Kirk, MSN, APN, FNP-C
Jennifer Kirk began her nursing career in 2007 in the emergency department, where she quickly demonstrated strong leadership and clinical skills, earning a promotion to Charge Nurse within her first year. Her early experiences in high-acuity care helped shape her commitment to patient-centered, efficient healthcare delivery.
In 2016, Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Purdue University Calumet. She then advanced her education by pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. During this time, she also served as a Nursing Supervisor at Methodist Hospital, overseeing operations across both campuses and further developing her leadership expertise.
In 2018, Jennifer graduated with her MSN and achieved board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed to practice in both Indiana and Illinois. Following graduation, she returned to the Emergency Department at Methodist Hospital, serving as a Nurse Practitioner at both the Gary and Merrillville locations.
In addition to her hospital work, Jennifer played a key role in helping a group of physicians establish Premier Urgent Care and Occupational Health in Hyde Park, Illinois, where she served as both a provider and office manager, contributing to the clinic’s clinical operations and administrative development.
Jennifer joined Midwest Express in 2022 as a Provider and has since progressed through several leadership roles. She served as a Clinical Resource for the Merrillville Walgreens location before advancing to Clinical Manager for the Illinois North region. Today, Jennifer serves as the Regional Director for Midwest Express's Illinois North Region, where she oversees clinical operations and supports the continued growth and success of the organization.
